Pros:
This course uses the land very well. I enjoyed the nice variety of holes. 1 and 2 required some tricky lines through the woods while holes 5 and 7 provided some open field shots.
Cons:
NO SIGNAGE. Also no sign of a course map on dgcr or at the course. It was difficult to figure out where the course started(walk to the left of the parking lot past the house/recreational office into the woods to find hole 1). I had to backtrack from hole 3 to figure it out. After finding hole 1, there are no signs pointing you in the direction of the next hole. There also weren't any signs at the teebox indicating where the basket is. The teeboxes were difficult to pinpoint as well, even in the snow. I was under the impression this was an 18 hole course, which it kind of is, but it only has 9 baskets and after the first 9, there are alternate tee pads that throw to the same baskets.
Other Thoughts:
This course has the potential to be a 3 or 4 star rated course in an area starving for disc golf. But as it stands now, I can only rate it 1.5. I had read in the local paper that the course designer is running a Tourny during a winter fest event in hopes of raising money for 9 more baskets and hopefully some course signage. With those upgrades this course will get many more players and higher review ratings.
