As of 9/29/21 the city of Newton had begun to really spruce up the course, While more work needs is being done it has improved dramatically. Besides clearing, there are new well done signs at each long tee showing the layout & yardage though a few are not up yet. Hole 1 is still missing a basket & it's impossible to tee off on 14 because of the trees. While multiple baskets are shown on the signs there is only 1 for each hole.
