Short 9-hole course on Randolph College campus. Makes great use of elevation on the small piece of land available. It's kind of like mini-golf, but if you've only got about 35 minutes to play, this is the course for that.
From Charlotte, NC (4 hours)
Take I-85N to Greensboro. Exit on 29N to Danville, VA. Just past the Lynchburg Airport take the exit for 29N/460E. Take the exit for 501N (Buena Vista/Candlers Mountain Road). This will be a left exit. After exiting, stay in the right-hand lane. After the second light, take the exit for 29N Business (Charlottesville). Take exit 1A (Main Street) and follow through downtown. After crossing 5th Street, Main Street becomes Rivermont Avenue. Continue on Rivermont Avenue approximately 2 miles to a right on N Princeton Cir. Student parking will be on your right.
From Charlottesville, VA (1 1/2 hours)
Follow 29S until the Route 210W (Historic Downtown Lynchburg) exit. Turn right at the stop sign at the end of the ramp. Turn left at the 4th traffic light onto Highway 163 South. Go down a hill and across the bridge. Turn right at the 2nd traffic light (Rivermont Avenue). Continue on Rivermont Avenue approximately 2 miles to a right on N Princeton Cir. Student parking will be on your right.
From Lexington, VA (1 hour)
Take Route 60 to Buena Vista. From Buena Vista, follow 501S. Watch for a right turn onto a large bridge to stay on 501S. At the intersection with Boonsboro Road, turn left onto Boonsboro. Follow Boonsboro Road, which becomes Rivermont Avenue, for approximately 3.5 miles to a left on N Princeton Cir. Student parking will be on your right.
Just park in the student lot, if you're not already on campus. Course is on the right side of the parking lot. 1st tee is on the far side of the Chapel (circular building).
