SE Tech Course Reincarnate 2+ years

Reviewed: Played on:Aug 24, 2020 Played the course:once

Pros:

+Nice baskets. I assume they are homemade by students. They don't have quite as many chains as some but still catch pretty well.
+Some elevation change keeps the variety and fun factor going. 2, 7 and 8 all have some decent elevation change.
+Shouldn't have a chance to lose a disc here.
+There aren't a ton of trees here but they use the ones that are well.
+Decent variety of lengths on the holes.
+Very easy to find and park.

Cons:

-Very open. Any time it is windy, you will know.
-Plays right next to I-29. Not the most natural, idyllic setting.
-NO TEES OR MARKERS. If you know the course, it is pretty easy to follow. It would be nice if there were some kind of semi permanent marker here. Concrete would be ideal.
-Some of the holes are pretty open.
-No signage.
-They do a decent job avoiding other man-made things such as school buildings, parking lots, sidewalks, benches, etc but it is still pretty close quarters here.

Other Thoughts:

-If they install concrete tees and at least basic signs for improve navigation, this course could go up to a 2.5. The thin strip of land that they have will limit it to being any better than that.
-They used to have a course here and then it fell into disrepair. I think the baskets were old innova portables. When the course popped up again, I needed to check it out. I only played the old course 2-3 times so my memory isn't the best but... I think that the new course is almost identical to the old one. It's an ok design but it would have been nice to change it up a bit.
-Worst holes: 1,2,6
1- Flat and open right behind the school building
2- Not terrible design but uses the building and parking lots as obstacles.
6- Very open and pretty short.
-Best Holes: 4,7,8
4- Most wooded hole with coniferous obstacles. Basket is protected.
7- Downhill
8- Downhill with some obstacles.
