Pros:

Large cement tee boxes on every hole
Tee signs are decent, abet crude
decent use of land
Area is disc golf only, no other park users

Cons:

No restrooms
no other park amenities

Other Thoughts:

This course is in an area that apparently is prone to flooding. All the homes are gone. All that is left is the streets. However the city has allowed this to become a disc golf course. The area that use to have homes has big growth tree's. There is an area behind where the homes use to be that is a little more open.

In general, there are several good holes here. Hole 2 might be the best hole on the course. 625ft hole down a fairway with rough on both sides with the basket tucked to the left in a nice open green area. Fairway is plenty wide, but errant shots are punished. There is a wash that was holding water today down the middle of the fairway.

Then you have the tighest fairway on hole 3. Basket is on the right side of the fairway, very tight and no right hand hyzer shot.

2nd best hole on the course is hole 5. A 400ft shot down to a bend to the right. The hole is mostly open as long as you don't throw into the thick woods on the right before the opening where the basket is.

After hole 4, the rest of the course is simi open. Mostly longer shots, although most of the course is in where the homes use to be. The tree's are very tall. Most of the holes can be thrown righty hyzer. You also have the coves from the old streets that come into play.

Overall, not a bad course. I like it much better than the much older Riverview course across town.

Would I play here again? Well, to be honest, while not a bad course, it is not a good course either. I have no desire to play here again, it is your typical course, but on the long side. If in town, I would play here over the other course in town.
