I keep losing my roadrunner and after a couple weeks buying a new one. Man a star roadrunner is an incredible disc. It goes so far with so little effort, is an awesome roller disc, stays low when hyzer flipped on a straight shot through the trees, beautiful anhyzers. It seems so much more controllable than a leopard, valkyrie, or monarch. Like my TL, aviar, and buzz I don't think it's every going to leave my bag.

Hell yes!

I was getting so tired of hearing guys give me crap for throwin rr's but holy damn its like a holy grail disc it loves a snappy fan grip release little hyzer and boom. Not fast, but it doesnt need to be, cause it just never stops. All my buddies turn mine over and say its only good for a roller, but I fan grip and snap super hard and hit a 400' frozen rope all day. Its good to find someone else who has unlocked what the roadrunner can do!

i have one that i keep in my summer bag that is made from the old star and more durable. it has been beat in nice and is my go to roller disc and my tomahawk to get out of woods

I recently started using 2 of these one with star and one champion plastic. Best disc I've thrown. I'm a newb, but I absolutely love the roadrunner.

Yes indeed.

I do use mine for some air shots ever now and then, big anhyzers that have to go over a tree, or hold an elevated anhyzer line for quite a distance.

Obviously really good at rollers and short tomahawks and thumbers.

RoadRunners are simply awesome. They are so versatile. I use mine for a little bit of everything.
Throw them backhand and they will go straight or to the right, depending on power. I also use mine as my understable sidearm discs. When I want to get nice distance without crushing it, I just put my RR on a little hyzer and flick it down the chute. Finally, when I am in a jam and need a backhand roller, Roadrunner FTW, all day, everyday.

I really need to try a RR again....think its the only spot missing in my bag. A truly understable disc outta the box. And something not too fast so its prob quite workable...

Right now I carry a Avenger SS, but its really sensitive and can get squirly

I've got a broken in 171g Champ RR for trade if anybody wants it, it's used but still flies great. I just don't have a place for it in my bag.

I played with a RR for a couple of years but after my arm speed increased I found no use for it. My valk has replaced everything my RR used to do. I can understand a slower arm finding this disc useful just not for me.

As a lefty, I can't live without it...great disc. I can get my valk to do some of the same understable lines if I have enough room, but very often I need to pull out the RR or Stratus/Stingray/XD. The leopard is handy sometimes, but I use that more for straight shots and the occasional curve around trees. I think the RR has a spot for most people whether they use it a lot or not - not just for lower power arms.

I don't have low arm speed and I love me some rr's. I have two in the bag. One beat for distance annys and a new one for hyzer flip dead straight distance. Messed with the avenger ss but it wasn't as predictable for me.

yes they are an amazing disc. even when new it's the straightest distance driver in premium plastic that innova makes. i'm looking forward to moving in a few weeks and getting out to some courses where i will actually need to throw them again.

^yes..this^
so much of the talk is that is unusable for anything other than rollers once you become a "better golfer" but I think people are really missing out by not taking a step back and throwing it at 80% and letting do all the work. It hits the tightest gaps. The only thing I have to say not in favor of the roadrunner is that if it hits a solid tree...its gone somewhere else cause its so glidey. But other than that I cant imagine ever outgrowing this disc.

I have a 175 star (hotstamp 2008 southern nationals) and it is still pretty stable. can't throw a roller with it, but it is good for hitting a straight 300" shot on a rope.

I used to keep one in my bag at all times but it has been replaced by a well worn in champion valkyrie. I found that the RR is great out of the box but as is wears in it becomes TOO flippy (and I don't throw very hard at all)

good post.

becoming a better golfer doesn't mean power-torquing a disc into the ground. Sure the roadrunner is easy to flip (it's designed to be), but a better golfer and a growing golfer should be able to work with this disc moreso than just a backhand roller.

Some of the locals I used to throw with would also tease me about throwing the RR....
Then I parked one under the basket on hole 13 at city park in New Orleans....teasing stopped

Love my Roadrunners!
