350-360 a few times with a 171 Star Roadrunner. Hiestand #5 and #16

There is that one I threw in the Crawfish River in Waterloo a few weeks ago. The rapids were running and that disc could still be moving. Crawfish feeds the Rock River into Lake Koshogong. 35 miles or so. Which would top that 720' toss by 34 and 3/4 miles. This could lead to some other Wisconsin Style Paul Bunyon Disc stories. On average I throw 275-290.

Best one I can remember is something like 410-415ish on #6 at Tom Bass Regional Park - Wilmont with a 174 Star XCal X-out into a headwind. Was in a sanctioned tourney so I couldn't use the laser to measure it.

Is this poll asking for longest throw ever, longest throw "pure D on demand", or longest throw that you can bank on on a real course where accuracy is required???

Mine vary a bunch - 420' longest ever (2-3 tinmes - must have got my form right by accident), 340' on command, 290-300' accurately. I voted 300-350'.

My longest was a little over 300' with a 165 champ valk

And I have thrown 360' on a downhill shot

had a 720' drive at new hogan dam. the shot was pin high about 60' right of the basket.

Holy crap. So... bascially I have to have 2 of my longest drive ever combined to match your one throw. Crap...

Of course, how many 720' holes are there compared to 300' holes. (I just have to keep giving myself this pep talk so I can sleep at night. :D )

like i said i was douche and didn't read the whole post, that throw was downhill about 75' below the tee.

hey jeff i have thrown a few past the 400' stone but there was never a 500' marker there when i played...congrats jon on a huge 3 on the 911' hole at chili!! awesome!!

I threw a 580' roller at Riverview in Bowling Green. It is a course on a ball golf course and I threw my newish 175 boss almost vertically. Must've been a good wind or something (combined with the flat and perfectly manicured fairway) because it just kept rolling forever (and straight). I was able to measure it because our tee was right by the regular golf tee and my disc was close to one of the distance markers in the fairway for that hole.

I had a 30' putt for a 3 at hole 12 at players day at USDGC. I was past the hole and it is 901'. I missed the putt. I played roller off the tee and roller to get to the pin. It was with the OB ropes and everything on spectator day. Gotta use those manicured fairways there too...

Rollers aside I don't think I've ever cleared 500 in the air without a little downhill help. I can throw my Echo Xcal 450ish if I get everything.

My home course has a 550' hole. There is a large open field and then trees at 440'. I have thrown the hole hundreds of times and got just to the trees four times. Twice with a champion Teebird, once with a Champion Boss, and once with a Star Boss.

The best I think I ever did was 310' with a SOLS. The hole was 320' I and I paced off about 10ft from the basket. I am still shocked about that one.

Threw 410 with my surge on the weekend, what a freek! My longest ever ever is a 520ft with my champ boss, elevated tee. I usually throw around 320-350. but then again flat ground is hard to come across in these parts......

Longest measured throw was 475ft at the Kentucky State Championship at Idlewild April 11. I threw a Champ Boss on hole 15, the 1001ft hole which starts over basically level ground. I was measuring it by the stones in the ground that give the distance every 50 feet.

The fairway starts to go downhill some when you reach the "400ft to the green" sign. My second drive went OB long literally inches past the island green. I've never been so happy to go OB.

I've maxed out throwing thumbers in the nearly 300' range with an Elite X Tracker. I just started learning a backhand and so far I seem to be able to fairly consistently get around 270' with an ESP FLX Avenger SS. No 'longest throw' on record for me until I get one I deem worth it.

In play, on an actual course, basically level... about 280' on #5 at The Whippin' Post in Paw Paw, WV. 509' par three and with a 210' approach I was able to make birdy... totally blew me away when I did it as it was my first Summer playing two years ago in '07. I can't think of any longer level throws that I've made on an actual course. Don't know what disc from a couple years ago.

Through most of '08 I didn't gain much on my distance, even on the practice field, and really hit the 280'-290' plateau with just a couple fluke throws over 300'.

On the practice field close to work and on the local H.S. football field, though, I've made great strides in my distance starting last fall and into this Winter and Spring. Measured with a roller type measuring device (or the football field yardage) I've gotten one out to 375' and several over 330'. I think that there must've been some wind about 20' off the ground that I didn't feel at ground level on the 375' throw. :p I'm throwing 150g Champion Valkyries currently.

I thrown 370' a couple of times practicing in an open field, measured with a measuring wheel. I remember one of the times was a turnover shot with 150 gm. DX Viking. On a course I've probably hit 350' a few times.

I've thrown a few around 415'-430' with my Star Destroyer and my Champion Boss both on a flex shot. Last week I threw my Pro Valkyrie about 475' with a slight tailwind on the local University course. I made the duece putt, first one that I know of that has made a 2 on that hole.
