This is the first course I have added to the database. Check it out and let me know what you think.....
North Shore Channel Trail DGC

Sweet, thanks man! :hfive: The only thing I see is you have to manually enter the course length in the course info tab - it doesn't generate it from the hole info.

i guess the way the crow flies it is closer :p, I am coming up for fun, i am in Chicago the weekend of every Bears home game so its getting to be that time of year!

Tis the season! Hopefully they can stay healthy enough to play some games in January this time around!

IIT DGC is pretty close to Soldier Field as well. Not exactly a "destination" course, but one of the few disc golf courses in a real urban neighborhood.

I wrote in "approx 2000"....that apparently did not work.

Not sure who entered the hole distance numbers....but thanks to whomever it was!

Looks like dshort added the lengths, that 90' hole just might help my ace count this year :p

yes sir, i would love to be up for a home game in late january....i have been to IIT before, definitely not a destination course but is great for the people who live in the downtown area who otherwise wouldnt be able to get to the outlying areas easily...

I only suggested IIT because I did not see it on your "courses played" list. :|

I was wondering if #4 was more or less than 100'. I was very tempted to pull a cubby and throw my entire bag on every hole out there.....maybe next time. ;)

yeah, my courses played list is probably only 1/4 to a 1/3 complete, i only update it if i am trying to get some information on a particular course AND I happen to be logged in to that part of the site then i'll mark it, otherwise its too much of a hassle(for me, not everyone), like the scorebook and disc organzier etc....

I'll be playing there at least a few days a week on my way home from work, I wouldn't be surprised if I get 10-12 rounds in every week. If I don't have a few aces there by October I'll have to consider giving up my wizards. :p

So I played the Ropes at the Oaks today figuring that I'd never get the chance to play in the USDGC so this was my best chance at playing a course with lots of roped off OB... Ended up qualifying for USDGC. Did not expect it at all. Guess I'm going

Congrats! What was the name of that water bottle that glassman and the td were raving about?

geebus, a $40 water bottle, whats the world coming to, next thing you know people will be paying $4 for a cup of coffee, sheesh....:wall:

Depends on the size. I paid $33 for my 40oz one. If you're playing a long tournament round in 90+ degree heat and crazy humidity you will appreciate the fact that this bottle can keep your drink ice cold the entire round. The 24oz ones are cheaper. I like the fact that they sell a filter attachment for the 24oz bottles so you can just grab water from a creek or something while hiking and it will filter as you drink.

i guess i am just lucky that i really prefer my water to not be ice cold when i am outside in 90+ heat and crazy humidity, it still suprises me when i pull a pro d zone out of my side pocket (adjacent to drink holder) and one little section of it is 30 degrees cooler than the rest from sitting against whatever is in the holder...

What do you guys think?

I can barely keep track of the one I do already... I'm more of a baseball freak when it comes to that stuff.
