Lists discs that are (arguably) best in base plastic

Some of the obvious ones are Aviars and Rocs and TBs. What are some other discs that are, at least arguably, best in base plastic (e.g., DX and Pro D)? If you could name the disc and maybe give a few thoughts as to why it really shines in that plastic, I'd appreciate it.

I wonder if there is much above a speed 9 that would make the list.

challenger, magnet, eagle-x, gazelle, any gateway putter

the eagle and gazelle were made specifically in base plastics first, and all putters are typically better in d/dx/s/etc

Probably not much. Spirits were really good in S plastic. They were overstable and surprisingly durable.

Original Beasts were generally best in DX but the "Proline" ones were supposed to be good, too. The DX ones started off more overstable than regular Champ and beat in to be pretty controllable but still really long.

I would submit DX Stingrays (provided you can get the right mold). I know many people throw the Stars and old Champions well, but nothing is quite as magical as the long hyzer-flip, late turn of the DX plastic. Powered down, the DX Rays will flip up and hold a long, straight line with almost no fade. The glide on them pushes their distance potential into competition with fairways, too.

Teebird ftw :p .. you will have the usual dx roc and aviar type stuff too tho but im all about the dx teebird... i hear some people really like the new baseline river too.. i know some love d-drones but dunno if i would say they are better i havent thrown them compared to esp or elite-z

Putters and kids for sure, I have base plastic wizards and rocs in the bag right now. Some fairway drivers are great in base plastic too, I carried dx tedbirds and eagles for a while.

I love D Zones, baseline wizards, and I'm learning to love the DX roc everyone praises so highly. Baseline glide is redonkulous!

Magnets, Challengers, Focus, and many other putters for obvious reasons. They beat in quick and feel great. Cheap to replace also.

Certain utility discs that I only keep in my bag if I know I will need it on a certain hole or wind conditions cause me to stick a few more OS mids and othes.

Pro D Zone, DX Condor, TM Diamond Light? Not sure I only use those in Opto but would probably be good once they go into production on their base material.

Trying out the Lat64 Fuse in Test Material base plastic I think they will work well in the base like a roc or buzzz

Fairways and Big D stuff I don't use base plastic because I'm not a fan of dx or pro d in those molds. Perhaps if the Lat stuff is good I will try my Rivers and Flows in that to save money and quicken the seasoning process.
