Disc golf shoes

That's the way I feel about them but my sole delaminated under my left big toe. And I don't drag my foot. IDK why. Sucks though because the shoes are amazing otherwise.

Yea that happened to my 310's i got but they weren't vibram and only cost me 35 bucks.

If these seperate before the rubber is gone im going to be a little bit somewhat kind of pissed off.

I've got a generic pair of Puma indoor soccer flats that I wore for a long time. After a while, as they wore down, they were less comfortable and provided less support, and I think I started having minor hip problems as a result (my form is weird, so maybe that could contribute). Since then, I most often wear an old pair of hiking boots with two layers of comfy socks. I'm looking for something new, but can't justify spending a large amount of money on a pair of shoes just for the occasion. Although, I think a good pair of trail fitness trainers would double for both hiking and discing, so I might just have to give in after a while.

Kicks?

Those look pretty good! My last 4 pair of shoes were New Balance because they offer XXX-wide sizes.
What I've seen on the disc golf course: bare feet, sandals, nice white tennis shoes, hiking boots, flip-flops, birkenstocks, baseball cleats, dress shoes, loafers, Sketchers, calf-high black leather lace ups, Vans/DC skate shoes, Pumps, Air-Jordans, Converse High-tops, Ug boots, (ball) Golf shoes, etc.
What I have yet to see on the disc golf course: Bowling shoes, Track shoes, swim fins, stilts, unicycle, Unicorn, Big Foot :D

LOL, I think the ball golf shoes would be as bad or worse than baseball cleats.

Here is the firat pair of keens that I wore everyday for a year to 18 months. I worked in them, played in them and sometimes slept in them. 200+ rounds easy is west Texas

I throw rhbh 90% of the time

Here is left inside toe

You can see the for sure wear on the pivot foot but for all the wear that these got, i am not pissed. If it was super sloppy outside I would put these back on quick.

When was the last time you saw any other Shoe company donate 3000+$ to one Dg tournament? That was the gbo, just remembered the worlds last year. Support something that I enjoy and i will support you.

Okay, has anyone considered actual tennis shoes? like the ones tennis players use? A good friend of mine plays tennis for my school and plays for hours a day and his shoes last a couple months before the bottom wears out. That sounds perfect to me.

im a tennis coach and thats what i tried first because i have a bunch of tennis shoes.... great for dry days but any water and they are slick. Plus no traction on the grass. Definetly the most comfortable choice though especially if you get Addidas barricade's. But those are like $100 for the newest ones.

Nike tennis shoes run heavy and are for narrower feet.

I got a pair of North Face Hedgehogs and I love them. So far they're my most comfortable pair of shoes for disc golf I've worn. They have gore-tex and have kept my feet dry in very wet weather. I played in a tournament that had rubber tee pads in the woods after heavy rain the day before and had no problem with traction on them. I would recommend these to anyone looking for some good shoes.

Adidas Vigor. Bought these right before a tourney a few weeks ago and love them, Great for mountain golf too.

teva chameleon

I just bought a pair of Teva chameleon's. they were a little pricey at about $150, but I got them at REI which I understand has one of the best return policies. These things are extremely comfortable and seem to be very well made. I'm about 225-230lbs. so their durability is definately going to be tested.

I just played 2 rounds(40 holes) at Finnon res. which is a fairly rugged tract. my feet were comfortable the whole time. the water proofing semmed pretty legit & the vibram soles provide great traction. they really helped me get into a couple trees for retrieval missions:|.

So, while they are a little pricey, how good my feet feel right now after today says that they were worth every penny:thmbup:

I've been wearing my Merrell moabs for a few Weeks now and I'm not disappointed. Light weight, good grip with the vibram soles, completely waterproof. $100 well spent

I have been wearing my WP Keen Siskiyous for over a year now. I wear them to work everyday and to the course to play and there is not one sign of wear yet!

found a website called endless.com that had these goretex crestones from the north face on sale for 58 bucks and free shipping. They arrived in two days. Such a good deal. Cant wait to try em out on the course

Any one ever had these? Got them a few weeks ago for right around $100 (I think they are regularly $150). They are super comfy and feel like they will last a long time. Almost want to use them as an everyday shoe instead of disc golf since they are so comfortable. GTX + Vibram sole = Win.

Do people really wear the vibram five toe sock/shoe to play disc golf? How do rocks feel when you step on them? Or how do they work in the woods? To me it is almost as bad as playing in sandals. Come on just play barefoot...

Does anyone know of a good shoe for a person who wears size 15 4E width? I'm wearing shoes out in 6 months or so due to the wear and tear of the sport. I generally just get whatever I can find which isn't much.
