Post a cool disc golf photo

Here's one to stir up the BOP haters / lovers out there. Look what's being installed out at Birds...

Rubber tee pads, complete with composite particle board underneath to keep them flat for years to come. Not course wide yet, but they have been bought, time for a huge BOP work party. Lots of benches have also been installed around the course, with more to come. They also designed new longer pro tee pads on some holes and new short am / goddess tee pads on other holes.

BTW the second shot there is Hazer throwing on the big par 5.

Here's another shot just for fun, my buddy Jason putting in his 2.

(not) cool pic:

The power lines are straight ahead from the teebox and at first it looked like it grazed the line and kept going - I said damn how'd he throw a straight line like that.. oh. Took us a few more attempts than I'd like to admit to getting it down..

Yesterday was the final matches for the Virginia Team Invitational at Hawk Hollow and Team Spotsy made it to the finals against Team Seneca. The morning was cold and cloudy and rain was forecast for the afternoon so everything was moved up for an early start.

By the final matches it had gotten colder and a few flakes of snow were dropping as the first groups were teeing off. By the seventh hole it was a heavy snow with about 150' visibility.

Team Spotsy was able to bring home the win.

I'll have a link to check out all the pics soon.
