My brother is just starting to get into disc golf and he is a lefty. I throw right handed and i have no clue what to suggest to him. Any suggestions for a good left handed back hand thrower who is just starting?

Most discs work well for lefties as well, just make sure to turn it 180 degrees first.

If that doesn't work, check out Innova's southpaw line.

Any disc that be thrown right handed can be thrown left handed. As a lefty, I would recommend your brother learn how to throw a turnover.

Tell him to get used to courses being designed for righties, and, like tbird said, learn to throw a turnover.

Learn to throw sidearm and backhand together, he'll be just fine. There is no such thing as a leftie disc or a rightie disc. Same as there is no such thing as a left handed basketball, baseball, football, soccer ball, tennis ball, etc etc etc...

This has got to be a troll thread.

If not, I have a left handed seal club, and a quiver of left handed arrows that I can sell him.

Get a Teebird, they only make those in left handed models now since KC went lefty 4 years ago.

thanks for all the suggestions guys! I know that all the discs have the same pattern whether you throw it left handed or right handed, im just trying to get a good idea of what might work for him and if there was any lefty suggested discs. I saw someone said a teebird would be good, i have 2 of them and maybe ill just give him one.

I have a buddy who is left handed. He seems to trend toward a less stable bag, due to the large number of "right handed holes" he encounters. Though, if Martha could throw a sidearm, this would be less of an issue for him.

all the left handed golfers I know throw a buzz... kinda weird

As another lefty, get used to shaping really awkward lines and yes learn to throw a turn over

I haven't thrown every disc created yet, but the ones I have seem to all fly when thrown left handed. I think your friend can go with personal preference when picking their disc.

Source: I'm left handed.

As the few other leftys been sayin "Learn to throw turnover"

Any disc would be fine really, just have him start off with a buzzz or roc or other disc of choice to learn how to throw basic shots before learning a turn over. He can learn how to anny with discs that are a bit understable or learn to throw flex shots, or hyzer-flips....you know what all this is important to learn so meh. Learn all the shots you can.
