Hello DGCR Friends,
I had quite the unfortunate experience yesterday at Johnson Road Park in Germantown, TN.
So we step up to #7, a short little island hole over water and there is a parking lot about 175ft behind the basket. We see a lanky Indian kid standing outside of his black Mercedes sedan and as soon as my buddy throws - kid slams his door, peels out in reverse, and does a loop around this little lot before pulling about 40ft past the basket.
??Strange little punks... my buddy had parked his shot with a Yeti Pro, so I go to stand on the tee and am just still baffled - wtf are these kids (now I can see there are a total of 3 little brats) doing in this populated public park, showing off? Did they erratically move in case we over shot (tough to do)? Were they just on their way out and wanted a better fly-by?
So right as I am about to throw, Indian kid hops out and skips down a little hill, picks up his disc, and proceeds back to his spoiled a$$ benz. As he gets outa the car, we start a fast paced walk b-line towards his perceived exit. Needless to say, they got away, but not before a Katana to the passenger rear panel over the rim.
Wow Future of a America, WOW.
This is actually the second occurrence for me at this park.. poachers just 'sitting on a bench' and then after you throw, 'casually walk to their car' and then your disc is just missing.
