Are There Any Only Sidearm Pros?

I was curious if there were any pros out there that only throw sidearms. All their upshots, everything except putts. I know locally we have a pro named Brian Cook who throws all sidearms, but besides him and Sarah Hokam, i havent heard of any. I know big jerm used to be all sidearm, but isnt anymore. Any info you guys have is appreciated. Thanks!

Alex Johnson from CO plays open always sidearm. Ian Mallard is also a great sidearm heavy pro, but not exclusively.

Ville Pippo, he used to be featured in a lot of the European tournament youtube videos by lcgm8. Beyond putt range, he's all forehand and overhead shots. Somewhere I read that he used to be an elite javelin thrower.

This dude, last name was Cook throws all sidearm. Can't remember his first name. Byron? Bryce? Brian?

I heard that his first name was really easy to repeat, but I can't remember it either.

Jeremy Kolling threw almost all sidearm at one point, but he's put a lot of work into developing a great backhand as well.

How about this clinic from 2012 World Champ Sarah Hokom

And Mark Ellis...

Nope. Big Jerm was forehand predominant off the tee--maybe 75%--when he started competing in sanctioned tournaments, but he always had (and used) a serviceable backhand, as well as a thumber.

He throws backhand when necessary. They all do.

I don't think there's any such thing as a sidearm only pro, just as there is no such thing as a backhand only pro. Players may prefer to throw one way or another, or do so predominantly, but they don't get to the pro level without learning to at least throw competently the other way and doing so when the situation warrants it.

^This. Borg and Climo even bust out the occasional fh when needed but they seem more comfortable throwing rollers for that shot

Can't recall seeing Barry throw a FH often, I'm sure he has if forced.

The warp speed drivers have made the FH more common, imo.

I don't know if I've seen a sidearm dominate Pro other than Sarah, Mark Ellis, but a lot of the most well rounded players will break out a good FH if the need it. Part of the reason Ricky and McBeth are doing so darn well is the throw BH and FH fairly excellently.

Dion Arlyn has a good FH too. Watching him hit spots with a Z Drone is petty cool.

Apparently you haven't watched Ville Piippo. Seriously if anyone can find a backhand drive from this guy let me know, I've seen him in a lot of vids and can't recall ever seeing it.
