[MVP] MVP Relay

Who's still throwing this thing? Appears to be a fairway driver with a blunt, mid-like wing...control? I've watched a couple videos. For that reason(blunt wing) I need to check the Relay out, finally. There could be a use for it, the Switch either turns and burns or dump fades. Gawd that disc is weird! Relay sounds like that faster and longer Tangent/Theory everybody's been wanting.

...and now the Signal's coming.

Relay is a lock in my bag as well as being my buddy' go-to disc. It can pretty much fly on any line from long glidey hyzers or straight hyzer flips on tunnel shots to flst turnovers or rollers. It is a sweet ass disc that feela super comfortable in the hand and powers up/down so well.

Signal is a flippy ass disc lol. Super US.

I've been bagging a 174g Neutron Relay for a little while now. I really like it. Effortless hyzer flips to turnover. Goes really far for being a 'speed 6' driver. My favorite shot with it is on uphill drives where I have to use a BH. I'm doing a lot of field work with it alongside my Roadrunner. They hit similar lines and I'm trying to dial back the amount of molds I use.

The Relay is probably the most beginner friendly driver out there. I wish I had started out with it instead of a Champion Monster. That thing set my form back generations.

Ive basically stopped throwing my tangent for anything other than 275ft straight tunnel shots, where I don't have the room to flip up the relay(my control on that shot is bad and usually do better just trying to throw a mid), because the relay powers down so well. For me it handles the tight anhy lines around here so much easier. Ive got my original thrashed circuit relay in the bag as well as a fresher one.

This is what I'm thinking...longer than Tangent/Theory, but still have the control cuz not a sharp driver-like wing. Discraft's been trying it off and on for years, but theirs are 22cm diameter freaks, lol.

Relay was the only driver I carried my last three rounds. Man when you let it it will cover a ton of lines. If they can come out with something like a gazelle in this speed class that would be the bees knees. I out drove my buddy all round today with my relay while he was throwing his high speed stuff. such a versatile driver that needs a more stable counterpart like yesterday!

^I'm sure '17 circuit will accommodate you... though I would rather have the whippet like disc in the class myself, since the crave for me already covers that slot.

It's THAT long? Geez! Although, the videos I saw had them getting it out to 350-375'.

Anyway, I need to check it out, for sure. Been playing a new heavily wooded course in my area lately, and I've had to change a lot of the lower speed stuff, right down to putters.

Agree with previous posts, though I have less exposure to other MVP/Axiom discs and can't really compare.

Yes, it powers up and down very well. I don't recall anyone mentioning this, but I really like it for high anny shots as well as the typical hyzerflips and turnovers. I've only thrown one, so we'll see if I like my replacement as much, whenever that needs to happen...

I was throwing over the wall marked 357 at my local baseball field with ease and I don't have a huge arm. These things scoot! I've reached just under 400 with them. Hyzer relaease nice and smooth and boom goes the dynamite! I still can't believe the distance these get for me, making my whole bag scared honestly.

^troof. Crazy long. I blame that fat gyro nose.

I first noticed gyro when th the anode it just wanted to stay in the air and I couldn't believe my eyes. The relay reminded me that gyro is REAL!!!! This class is my bread and butter. The clash and crave are great discs but too close to my teslas and inertias to bag them. Now that I'm getting more familiar with the relay my teslas and inertias are getting lonely. I think the relayOS is my new MVP/axiom unicorn, that and electron anodes. I love beating my buddies wth slow discs. next round I'm gonna rock my envy and relay and see how that does!

Bagging the Relay pretty much since day one. Both it, and the Signal, pack a ridiculous 1-2 understable punch. I can chuck the Relay almost as far as the Orbital if I hit the angle right.

HOW is this possible! A blunt edged 1.6 rim? I really need to try a Relay.
