Disc Golf Pro Tour

I didn't realize that only 25 people played Maple Hill and GCC combined.

Amazing things they can do with cameras and editing these days.

Thats about the size of the gallery. Tens and tens of people watching.

I don't know if the Udisc app is the right place for this, but it would be nice to see the payouts listed somewhere since the Finals were unsanctioned. I realize the scores/scores pages for the Udisc app are crammed already, so possibly another tab for winnings? More work no doubt, but since the app is tracking stats already adding winnings as another stat may make sense.

Are you asking for transparency?

Not seeing anything showing payouts to each player, am I just blind or what?

Is this what you're looking for?

Men's Finals Payout:
In the Finals, all five players play one final round, lowest score (in the final round) wins. Our Champion will receive $10,000, the Dude Tour Champion hoodie, and a the Tour Championship ring. All other competitors in the finals will receive $2,000.

No, I was looking for the actual payouts next to each player's name but don't see it anywhere.

Well, PDGA released the 2017 NT and Major schedule.

http://www.pdga.com/2017-pdga-major-and-national-tour-schedule-released

I can see how it would get under Steve Dodge's skin. An NT at IDGC in the same year that worlds is there instead of Maple Hill? And the Gentlemen's Club an NT?

Gentlemans Club has been asking for NT status for years- about time they got a shot.

Pure speculation to follow: I bet the Memorial TD is the one with whom Dodge allegedly shared schedule info, thus the Memorial on DGPT schedule for next year. 2017 DGPT appears to be brought to you by Discraft. All their biggest events (memorial, ledgestone, green mountain) on the schedule and Doss on the DC.

Augusta getting both an NT and a Major is a bit annoying.
But if the DGPT is as big of a deal as Steve thinks it is, then he should be glad that he gets solo ownership over the Vibram Open and the Memorial. Why would he want co-branded tournaments? Why would the players want co-branded tournaments?
PDGA took Gentleman's Club as an NT and gave the Memorial to the DGPT. That's a big move, IMO. Steve should be thrilled at this schedule.

i wonder if anyone else in the south applied for NT status. i agree that doubling up in augusta makes no sense. didn't they double up in emporia last year too?

Of course, the south (Augusta) gets that darn Masters event every year as a ball golf Major. You'd think that would have rotated by now. ;)

Yes. I saw that and thought it was a win for the DGPT, with The Memorial's long history.

It's not so much a National Tour as a National Tier.

At least the DGPT has a little bit of "touring" built into their schedule.

I'm sure pros from the South are happy to have Worlds, USDGC and a NT locally....And then region 2, 3 and 7 get goose-egged. I guess the PDGT covers those areas instead. Seems like the DGPT filled the gaps pretty well on the NT schedule, I wonder if it was just the shear amount of juggling that Steve Dodge had to do to get it to work that frustrated him enough to lash out.

Nah, Winthrop Gold is the equivalent (well, without the pimento cheese sandwiches).

Maybe the PDGA should hold the US Open at Augusta in addition to the Masters?
