Seems like FLX is one of the plastics that's going away. Bummer, I like FLX!
The Flash always had a consistency problem. For a company that was known for consistent runs, the Flash was all over the place. I'm honestly surprised they kept it around as long as they did.
My ESP acts a lot like my C-PD. Nice disc, but I'm sorta happy I only have the one.
After looking at this very long list of OOPs, I need to see a list of "still produced" discs to remind me Discraft is alive and kicking.

z Hornet and ESP Flash are core bagged discs for me.
Discraft has done this before. They don't drop a disc here and a disc there, they drop a whole bunch at once.

Drone? Even assuming they keep 'big z'... dropping grippy Drone options sucks.
I wonder if Ti FLX will ever go production
cleaning house is good. remember my first runs xs in blue plastic. light weight crushers. voight just set a distance record with them. but i believe even then they just didn't catch on despite their massive distance potential. I think really they had a great run of glidey faster than xl type plastic so similiar in the likes that chris was able to get the right throw in the right conditions.

but it is time to move on. better molds need to produced that will sell. not the molds that hold value for my nostalgia alone that I don't even throw.

WHAAAAT??? REALLY!? the Avenger!? AND the Hornet!? I absolutely LOVE the Hornet. There simply isnt any replacement.

They don't even have a replacement for the Avenger. Undertaker? No, uh uh.
Seems like every mfgr is trying to solve/fill that speed 9 PD-like OS driver slot...and Discraft just abandoned it. :thmbdown:

The hornet was one of my very first discs and by the time i got decent form down i had fallen in love with it. Its only like 6 yrs old right? Was it really that unpopular? And i just like 2 hrs ago i had posted here that i finally picked up my first avenger! Grrrr!
I guess ill give the wasp a try. Does the wasp fly like a beat hornet? I could handle that. But the avenger? Really? And no, your right, the undertaker certainly does not seem like a replacement for the avenger. Profoundly different profiles. Whats similar at all other than that theyre both OS?

Boy, I threw X XL's and XS's for a long time. They are both great beginner discs. Crush is still in my bag as my skipping disc. Kind of sad.

Wasp doesn't fly like a Hornet, beat or otherwise. The Hornet is faster and has less glide than the Wasp. Neither are super OS, the Wasp does have decent fade and holds up into a headwind reasonably well. Think Roc 3 or Mace...if you've handled either of those.
Undertaker is slower than the Avenger, having a blunter wing. More of a slightly OS control driver, where the Avenger is just a OS driver.

well... guess im gonna have to find a "new" hornet.
On the optimistic side, maybe ill like wasps even better? Havent tried one yet. Man, seems like every time i finish a "disc quest" i start up a whooole new storyline for the next one.
