Prediction: Paul McBeth Stays With Innova

Innova wants to keep on good terms with Paul.
After all, he has made them a lot of money over the years.

Another point to consider is that they want to keep the door open if Paul decides to come back.

Last, from all accounts, Dave and Harold are genuinely good people.
Maybe not necessarily "soft", but not soul-less corporate monsters either.
They've made a business decision, no hard feelings.
Paul made a business decision, no hard feelings.

I sincerely wish them all well.

I cannot speak from personal interaction with Dave but Harold Duvall is one of the most upstanding, genuine people I have ever met as was their former partner Tim Selinske.

Paul is leaving. Look, the only persons who are allowed to speak out about Paul's "move" are Innova. They have the contract. If Paul was doing something dynamic with Innova, in any way, they'd be talking about it. They're saying what they can say. He's leaving. If they were going to enter into a business deal of some sort, they'd be on the same page and would be promoting it, even if it was, I'm gonna have Innova make discs for me. As has been pointed out, if Innova is playing a game, it's a stupid one. Innova has never struck me as stupid.

The going to Discraft thing is harder to call, because of legal obligations, we've gotten less info (thanks Three Putt for reminding me of this). But we have an inside voice who claims it's true. That gives it credibility.

That means the only meaningful speculation is, what? What is he getting and will it pay for the people who get his name? Paul will do good, he's savvy and a good negotiator. If he didn't get what he wanted, he would not have gone.

I'm thinkin' he got a trike. Red, with a paddle wheel, none of that push with your feet stuff.

There is no way McBeth will move to Discraft. His throw has WAY to much OAT. He needs Innova discs, aka the torque monkey brand of choice, otherwise he will just turn everything over.

Can you imagine McBeth throwing a touch disc like a Comet? Or a finesse distance driver like a surge? No way man, turn and burn city!

^is this for real?

Mcpro Roc3, mako, 166 roadrunner.... I think he can handle it

Have you ever thrown a Nova? They are extremely OAT sensitive but Paul has no issue with those.

Pretty sure he was being sarcastic but weird post nonetheless.

The Surge is a finesse distance driver? Isn't it pretty similar to a Wraith?

Don't confuse throwing far for smooth form. McBeth cranks em out there, but he is putting tons of torque on it.

hmm...someone using the same manufacturer plant that Legacy uses to introduce a new line of discs. hmm... I still don't believe it.

Un-nice. McBeast has plenty 'o touch.

Maybe with Mrs. McBeth, but put a Sonic in his hands and I doubt he gets it past 150'.

I can get a Sonic about 250', but I have much less OAT than McBeth. Of course his arm speed kills mine I max out at 400', smooth doesn't ALWAYS equal far.

He finished 1st in the Ed Headrick Hall of Fame Classic. I believe those courses are fairly wooded. Don't confuse throwing far with poor form.

Yes I am sure you have much less OAT than P McB. World Championships don't mean crap Just those Sonic distance challenges!

It's cool tho. The way I throw my wizards puts Kevin Jones to shame.
