Oh, great, another hijacked thread about something not relevant to disc golf.


I want to see Paige's lineup of discs. I think it would be interesting if she decides to fill the same speed slots/disc types as McBeth...I could see same speeds but more potential going with discs that fly significantly different from the PM line.

PP moved to Discraft, she'll have some design input on some discs. Really not much else to say until we see her with some discs in her hands.

But I agree, beer and coffee snobs ruin everything.

It´s a hard balance. . she needs disc she can sell, and bag. .
Paul and Paige HAS to bag and throw their own line.

All of Pauls disc are quite stable at 1.9 ( except the Luna ) . . i think Paiges mid, fairway and driver will be more in the 1.4-1.7 range

Paige normaly don´t carry that many moulds. . but now she will get 5 Sig. disc, a tour series Buzzz and five own moulds.
So that´s 11 moulds. . so i guess her bag will be only those 11 moulds

But it seems smart for Paul and Paige AND Discraft if their top player throw some "normal" Discraft discs as well

nah.....one missed out by a couple of decades, the other missed out by a few years or less, if they stayed active and played...and won.....maybe. But I also really have no idea how well Nate or Val can move product.

but it's one of the most versatile beers out there. 9 am tailgate before a sports event, check. Doing some yard work, check. Spending the day grilling or smoking some meat, check. Spending the day out by the pool, check. Have a few beers during your round, check. Easy to drink and easy to control yourself so things don't get out of hand too quick.

How do you know what she "needs" to do? You don't know what her day to day routine is, do you?

She's been off the tour now for 4-5 weeks. You think she hasn't spent that time playing and throwing? She posted the other day on her Instagram stories a video evidencing her first ace with a Discraft disc since re-joining them. She said that it was her first actual round since the change but that she'd been throwing in the field a few times already.

A couple weeks doing the disc golf tourist thing in Croatia, which involves playing disc golf BTW, isn't bad timing. She's got almost three months after that trip before the tour season begins. Plenty of time to work on her game. That's assuming that a player of her caliber needs thousands of repetitions with new discs to "learn" them and be good with them. (she doesn't)

ok "need to" might be a bad choice of words. . .but again English words are not my strength

She said on Smashboxx that she first got her hands on her new putter on Friday. . and they will tweek it some more
So if Discraft are not tweeking it and send her putter to Croatia for feedback it might be a month or two before her putter is 100% done
Sounds hard to make a new putter and then learn it before the season starts. . the rest of the disc o probably easier to lern

How do you know what she "needs" to do? You don't know what her day to day routine is, do you?

I think it is the way Jolt makes statements or asks questions that make the person answering become defensive. It is as if Jolt is passing judgement on disc golf companies and players. I hope it is because English is not Jolt's first language. Here is a perfect example of a Jolt judgement statement:

For me it feels strange that Innova cant help a player like Eveliina to play more, especially after her win at Memorial.

The highlighted statement implies that Innova was not helping Eveliina. Even though Eveliina Tour discs were available for sale in the US and Europe specifically to help Eveliina to play more....even BEFORE she won the Memorial.
