The newest versions of Discmania drivers (Freak, Hysteria, Craze, probably the upcoming Turning Driver, TD Rush will also) share the same top, known for some reason as the "Anhyzer" top (according to Dave D). The first run CD and the proto PD had a more blunt nosed top (which made the FR CDs much more stable than the newer Crazes and I love those old ones dearly. Not much difference in the PD).
Some first run DDs (pre-Hysteria stamp) were marked *AW, a working name supposedly meaning Anhyzer top, Wraith bottom. I don't have a Wraith to compare my DDs to, but seems fair, seeing how similar they are in speed and in flight (at least some P-DDs fly identically to Echo Star Wraiths, just cheaper and more readily available). The P-DD is also my favorite distance driver, the S ones don't have enough glide to really be useful IMHO.
All Discmania discs are either made using Innova mold parts or are original Innova molds (like the P1 which is a beadless Aviar and the GM Gremlin, which is an Innova Gremlin). They're designed by Dave D with input from the Discmania CEO, Jussi Meresmaa.
