Hey everyone...new to the sport (and this forum) and looking for some backsaver type straps. as its not a necessity, i don't need the latest and/or greatest. i don't want to spend a crapton, does anyone have an old set layin around collecting dust?
paypal ready...thanks

If you want the quick 'n dirty solution, check Army surplus stores/sites for LC1 H-style suspenders. Should be less than $15 shipped. I use them on my Fade Crunch Box and I know a couple of guys that use them on their Fade and Revolution Tourney bags. They distribute the weight pretty well on small bags and are a hell of a lot better on the shoulders than a standard shoulder strap.

ty...ty...i'll wait and see if anyone has something with plastic clips first and then go this route if need be. thx for the welcome too!

If you get some of the DG quads dont get Innova, their terrible and highly likely to break within first season. Gateway are the cheapest and are durable. Quadshocks are best quality and comfortable, Gelstraps in my opinion are the most comfortable, but they are new so durability isnt tested, but I havent heard of anyone having any troubles

thats all i've heard abt the innova straps. i can source them locally for around $26 iirc but was told "NO! STAY AWAY, MUY PELIGRO!" lol. my friend has the quads and i carried his bag yesterday for a hole and was plesantly surprised at the comfort of it all. i carry like, 12 discs vs his 20ish w/ 2 32oz water bottles...so yeah. looks like i might try the alice pack straps (thought i'd NEVER have to touch a set of them again, SEMPER FI!) ;)

I have the Innova straps. I have had them for about 2 and a half years with no problems. I also play a lot of golf. I have heard a couple bad things on the Innova straps and some good things. The phenix quads are supposed to be the best. My friend has them and really likes them. If you go to discgolfcenter.com they have most of the straps that people are talking about on here. I also read a forum about "brown bag straps" from homedepot.com They are supposed to be like gel straps but made for tool belts. They look pretty nice and are cheaper then some of the other options. If I need new straps anytime soon I will probably get those. Hope this helps. And welcome to the sport!! It's a lot of fun!! I love it!

I believe (correct me if i'm wrong) that innova recently has someone new making their straps and they are of much better quality than older ones....?

I love my quads and would recommend them to anyone. I've also heard really good things about the new fade bag with the built in rain cover that will pull down over your bag, the people I've talked to that have used them said they're really comfortable and hold up well so far.

The best are $20 at home depot. look in the tool belt suspenders section.
They are gel padded and work beautifully. Jrawk, Luvs2throw, and I noticed we all use them.
