I would like to see a vector in glow more than the ion, only because you don't see very many options for overstable mid ranges like the vector that glow.

USPS says that my package arrived in Charlotte at 2:42 this morning.. Why isn't it here ... I'm only an hour away and want to throw one of the Ion.

I purchased a FR Vector from Prime Discs and when I got it, it was severely warped. I tried to fix it myself, but nothing was working. Well I emailed Prime and they were no help. So I emailed MVP and their customer service was great. Even though it was not their fault they told me to send it back to them and a week later I received a perfect new Vector in the mail.

Glad to hear something like that about any company, especially a disc golf one .

Well I tried my M Ion today. I'm still undecided with it for putting but I do feel it may stay for up shots. Will throw it some more tomorrow. Also how much different is the Soft from the Medium. Since it is more of a premium plastic is it just more gummy or actually have a softer feel?

I think the softs feel a softer/more grippy than the mediums. I haven't used a medium in a while, but thats going to change soon.

Man, the glow Ion protos are awesome! I just got mine in the mail...First of all, the white overmold looks super cool...After seeing so many black overmolds, it just pops. I did some glow testing today (it's overcast and stormy) and it gets super bright, and holds a decent glow for a good time. This will be the one disc in my night bag that doesn't have an LED light on it, which is nice because they annoy me when putting. But I won't be throwing this proto as it is one of only 10 made! So I'm with all the rest of you now trying to be patient waiting for production!

I'm also going to do some glow comparisons at the Clearwater Disc Golf Store. Hopefully we'll get some camera work to show results!

After using mine for awhile, that's exactly how I feel. Anything inside 30 feet and my Aviar still comes out. As an approach disc, the Ion is money. It just seems to drop more on shorter putts. I'm guessing it just needs more spin to really do it's job.

Softs will tend to fall out of the air if you dont put a good amount of spin on it, the mediums tend to stay aloft longer.


@cmrichar, i know you guys have a lot on your plate at the moment, but any idea of when lighter ions will come out?

I would really love to give an estimate, however we are focusing our attention on several other developments as we speak, for the meantime.
