[Discraft] Nuke SS=No GO

and Chris if you are answering Nuke questions
I have a few

is the X Nuke mold the same as the ESP mold or the Z mold?
I understood that the Z mold was different to the ESP in that it was shallower (in order to reduce weight)
so I wonder which of the 2 the X follows

any reports back on a X Nuke yet?

about the X Nuke. I am not a fan of the X Plastic. I guess that's because I play many wooded course and thinner winged discs don't maintain their flight characteristics after some high speed smashing. I liked the feeling of the X and it was easy to control. The temptation was too high to throw it down a tight alley and it is starting to get a little squirrelly when thrown hard. It's an expendable water disc or probably going to be a roller soon.

I haven't really noticed any real difference in the molds of the X, Z and ESP. It's not as obvious as holding a new disc like the SS or OS.

i don't think i'd especially want a nuke that's even more understable... i'll be following this. what's the nuke OS?

"over" stable
concave instead of flat wing if I read Chris' post correctly
(think curved like the Pred perhaps)

Nuke ss

Got my 2 last week...OH MY UNDERSTABLE!!!! even in the CO thin air (which makes everything more overstable) seems a bit slower though... you folks at sea level need a fast roller, this is it

I like hearing this. Even though I didn't have the arm for an ESP nuke I still liked the feel too much to keep it in my bag. Hopefully now the SS will give me a perfect disc for straight bombs. Any word on what weight ranges may be available for the SS's?

i dont have a ton of power in my throw and i turned this thing right over, i think smaller arm will enjoy this disc as straight shooter

i can post a pic if you want but they are still on free bay

Awesome. It will probably be more of a straight shooter for me then. I'll wait for them to hit the market and probably save about $10 without the shipping and the "BE THE FIRST TO HAVE ONE!!!!" markup lol.
