Thanks, guys. I did play it last weekend, and the course was in considerable better shape than it was in June. All the work was done on the tee boxes, and the course map from here was quite helpful, although the numbers are so small it is hard to read.
Interesting course, and now worth...
Is the course in good shape now? I see that's what's being reported now on its page here, but I was down there in June and it was ridiculously bad. No signage anywhere. No locals playing. Apparently an out-of-date map back then. My son (who is now going to A&M) and I couldn't even get...
Anyone know the current (4/7) conditions at Lester Lorch? Is it playable after the rain this week? I've never been there. Thinking about it this morning. But don't really want to drive for an hour to find out it's unplayable.
Snow ended very late Thursday night. Still lots on the ground (we did have a record 12"). Everything is unplayable by Texas standards right now (cold and very wet/muddy from melting snow). Whether it will dry out at all by then remains to be seen, but I wouldn't bet on it. What courses are...

I say leave them as they are...except that there should be a specification that makes them the same everywhere you play. You don't see different size holes or hole depths in ball golf. And as far as spit outs, etc., again, I think it's like ball golf. You don't see every putt that is on...
Any chance of a SOF mis-mold? I bought a Sirius OLF that is inked SOF on the bottom. It's my first, so I don't have anything to compare it to. Flies nice, though.
