Research Park in College Station, TX

Thanks, guys. I did play it last weekend, and the course was in considerable better shape than it was in June. All the work was done on the tee boxes, and the course map from here was quite helpful, although the numbers are so small it is hard to read. Interesting course, and now worth...

Research Park in College Station, TX

Is the course in good shape now? I see that's what's being reported now on its page here, but I was down there in June and it was ridiculously bad. No signage anywhere. No locals playing. Apparently an out-of-date map back then. My son (who is now going to A&M) and I couldn't even get...

    DFW disc golf

Anyone know the current (4/7) conditions at Lester Lorch? Is it playable after the rain this week? I've never been there. Thinking about it this morning. But don't really want to drive for an hour to find out it's unplayable.

    Coming to BigD

Snow ended very late Thursday night. Still lots on the ground (we did have a record 12"). Everything is unplayable by Texas standards right now (cold and very wet/muddy from melting snow). Whether it will dry out at all by then remains to be seen, but I wouldn't bet on it. What courses are...

    Better Get Mako

That's interesting. I wonder how it is that the Mako is that much more HSS than the Coyote? :?

    Better Get Mako

So isn't the Mako just about the same as a Coyote? When I look at them side by side, they look nearly identical. Do they fly differently (I've never thrown a Mako)?

    Flip City Gathering

I would love it if the timing is right. I live in Texas, but I always take the family to Michigan for 2 weeks for our summer vacation (I have relatives in Holland, Muskegon, Montague and Grand Rapids). Last year we rented a house on Lake Michigan in Montague. My brother, my nephew, my son and...

Disc Golf Name for a new Dog

You could call him "Discer." For a nickname while he is young, you could call refer to him as "Super Puppy," although some younger folks might not catch the DG reference there. Of the listed choices, I do like "Deuce" the best.

Do we need to fix/change disc golf baskets

I say leave them as they are...except that there should be a specification that makes them the same everywhere you play. You don't see different size holes or hole depths in ball golf. And as far as spit outs, etc., again, I think it's like ball golf. You don't see every putt that is on...

Ask MILLENNIUM Golf Discs (1.8 QJLS are mislabeled QPLS)

    I finally found the run on the stamp...doh. It's a 1.2.

Ask MILLENNIUM Golf Discs (1.8 QJLS are mislabeled QPLS)

That's interesting. So I may have a 1.1 SOLF? Like I said, I really like it so far. :D

Ask MILLENNIUM Golf Discs (1.8 QJLS are mislabeled QPLS)

Any chance of a SOF mis-mold? I bought a Sirius OLF that is inked SOF on the bottom. It's my first, so I don't have anything to compare it to. Flies nice, though.
