I'm gonna go outside the box here and recommend a max weight DX Teebird, since i've seen a lot of recommendations for 160s Teebirds. I think if the wind is the main factor the added weight would help, plus, if he's maxing out at 280' a DX Teebird would be a great choice for him right now anyways.
That 2nd run FD is out of my weight range, or I would have snapped it up for my backup stack.
free bump though, someone should get that thing and fall in love.
I think a kids FIRST disc should be those Gateway Lil/Mini Wizards or other super small diameter super light Gateway Lil disc, you gotta remember, these child hands are small, and a disc feeling good in the hand is one of the main things adults look for when buying our discs.
After they get...
I like the Aurora MS. Get one in Quantum or Sirius and then another one in Millennium's base plastic (Innova Pro) and beat that one in and you'll be set
I would probably just keep this in the bag and throw it into the basket from 5 feet and in.
I know the money is tempting, but you can't replace the sentimental aspect of a disc like this, and just think of all the strokes it has saved/will save you off the scorecard.
How old is that brochure?
I haven't been golfing for too long but even in my short time I've seen the quality of DX plastic go down.
The new DX discs I have gotten during the past 12-ish months have this weird waxy feeling to the plastic.
Conversely, my buddy has an old DX Shark that is...
I know that the Ion, Envy, Proxy, Crave, Anode and Tesla will probably sell pretty well for you just based on the hype of those molds.
Outside of those, you could probably add some Insanitys, Inertias and Servos, those would be second tier in terms of selling potential for me.
So if you've got...
For what it's worth, if you live somewhere that it's warm, I don't think Frost line was really for you anyways.
from my understanding, they made frost line maintain a good grip in the VERY cold temperatures they have in Sweden (and Finland, etc).
That being said, I live in warm and sunny...
Where can I find some light weight Longbowmen in TP??!?!
I usually just buy from DTW but they only have 169g and up?
Would love something a little lighter, and the stack of VIPs I got was in 166-167g.
