I've heard that not having the plotter grounded properly can cause issues like that. It could also be caused by the limited memory built into the plotter. Are you trying to cut a really complex pattern? I'm having trouble with intricate cuts right now and I suspect it's a memory or USB issue.

Yup, that's right. Just a reflection of the white fluorescent bulb above the disc.

Yeah, I'm a plotter man. Although this really wouldn't be that tough to do by hand. This was a commissioned job on a Star Firebird for a buddy of mine.
