What are your favorite 2 discs in your bag to throw?

    1. Disctroyer Stork - It flies like I want my Teebirds to fly, or maybe how they fly when I play a lot and am throwing really well. Basically a Teebird for someone that doesn't want to try that hard. 2. Doomsday Plague - It's just another overstable disc like a Firebird but the rim fits me...

    [Recommend] Recommend a distance driver!

If you are getting that kind of distance you are starting to get into the really fun stage. Basically everyone offers a good driver in that speed just like everyone offers a teebird type disc. Now it's about what works and feels good for you. It's probably a good idea to just look up or use...

The number of disc golf player has declined, by a large number.....

It was never the only course directory and never the best directory. It has always been a place for pro/am events. Normally not the only place but usually the primary place. These days it's the place for Pro events and sanctioned Am events. I'd argue it isn't even the primary place for...

    [Other] Doomsday Discs

I hate bumping old threads but I thought it was worth mentioning that the Plague has definitely made the bag as an overstable driver. It, along with the Stork from Disctroyer, has made me rethink my rim preference. I used to avoid sharper outside rims especially with higher inner rims. Now...

    [Other] Doomsday Discs

I picked a bunch of these discs up just to see what is up with them. For context I throw roughly 380-400 when I am practiced up but it's winter in Minnesota and I play about once a week at best now. I'm probably topping out at 360 with the bad footing etc. I'm not looking up what they say are...

I've used the Curl off and on, mostly on, as a control driver for quite a while now. The feel in the hand is really good and my release is consistent because of it. When I haven't played for a while and my drives are down around the 350' range it plays as a good driver, basically a replacement...

    2022 Pro Worlds Picks

The lack of wind has really affected things.

    2022 Pro Worlds Picks

This is exactly what I'm thinking. Simon has been great in the wind this year and his putting is tops. It's hard to bet against Tattar.

    [Other] Infinite Discs Scepter

I've got two now. The first one is just a nicely overstable flyer, flat topped. It's a bit more overstable than a typical Firebird with lots of skip at the end of the flight. The metal flake one I bought to have a backup is just stupid overstable.

    Ricky Wysocki #38008

I almost exclusively use Permathrin when I go camping. There are clothing treatments that last for several treatments and work amazingly well. I started to think it would work when I noticed that tics rarely attach on my lower legs which means they have to climb onto my treated socks or under...

    Eagles Crossing Skins Match

In general the course looks like it is coming along nicely and I really enjoyed the skins match. I could see dragging the wife there for a weekend. The open fairways with just stakes gave me the impression that they aren't done with them yet. A few rows of bushes mixed in with some trees...

DGPT: 2022 WACO Charity Open Mar 11-13

I'll take 10 below over 25 and moist any day. Moisture in the air changes everything.

Who was this Johnson City women's player??

Oh you could be like that, but both those rounds were in Minnesota. One of those people was about 15 years ago the other was about 6 years ago. I admit my sample round with the putting dude could be a fluke, but the distance with a blowfly on the other guy wasn't a fluke.

Who was this Johnson City women's player??

There are absolutely people that never play tournaments out there like that. I played a round with a random guy that carried a blowfly and a destroyer, that's it. He threw the blowfly on everything up to 340' and the destroyer after that. It was crazy. It made me wonder if he got a crazy...

    [Other] Lone Star Discs

I've been using the Curl for a while now and a slightly beat in Star Wraith is a very good description. I don't find it as glidey as my Pro Wraiths. The plastic feels a lot like gStar, maybe a touch more stiff. The slot I'm hoping to fill is that newish Pro Wraith slot so I don't have to...
