Relationship Between Disc Weight and Distance?

Go get some 155-165 discs and try it

[Discraft] Crafting Low Scores - Everything Discraft!

Cranks have taken over. I used to do Nukes, NukeSS, Hurricanes, Forces, and Surges. I prefer the durable Z plastic and the wide rim of the Nuke so I started trading and I collected over 20 in Z, Ti, Cryztal, Big Z, ESP, etc. Unfortunately I found that some 170+ Z Nukes are "meathook" for me...

[Drivers] Your go to disc for nothing but distance?

Domey, 170+ regular old Z cranks. They beat in slowly but when they get beat in they're perfect for my personal best rips. My last few personal record distances have been with them. The instructional picture of the front helps too. http://discraft.com/downloads/crank_wallpaper_widescreen.jpg

    [Discraft] Mini Buzzz

Amazing throwers, flies with the same stability and distance of a buzzz lol...I played catch with mine yesterday. The best mini golf disc. I thought it would be too big to pocket around but it is so light that it's fine to stick in my pocket.

[Discraft] Crafting Low Scores - Everything Discraft!

Flies the same but breaks in quicker and has better grip. I appreciate the awesomeness of ESP and X in any disc but when it comes to buzzzes, meteors, and comets I can't help but prefer the suuuuuper slow cycle of Z. 4 different mids isn't too many. Nor is using a meteor and comet they have the...

    [Discraft] Thrasher

It glides past everything! The closest comparison that sprung to mind was a Tern or a faster Valkyrie. The Thrasher has the proper stability for noodley throwers who drive 300 consistently and also those who can drive 375 on command. They nailed this one it has the perfect feel and the correct...

[Help] Driver advice for 400' power

I throw 400 standard consistent full power drive 450 with rare perfect timing. I prefer a Nuke for overstable hyzering shots but not too overstable so I still get good glide. Similar to a Force but about 30 feet farther. I also prefer a Crank which is essentially a seasoned Nuke for drives with...

    [Discraft] The Undertaker??

Doss the Boss currently third in points this year! He talked up the Undertaker for a Discraft ad during the Ledgestone coverage. He was throwing two blue Zs one with a blue stamp one with a gold stamp during Masters and Vibram. I'll paraphrase: "My bag hasn't changed much in the past 10 years"...

[Discraft] Crafting Low Scores - Everything Discraft!

Definitely try a big Z Mantis. Comparable to a champ valk or TL. It starts off a sweet flyer and stable, then it slowly wears into the sweet spot understable but not too understable, then eventually it wears into very understable for backhand rollers and stuff. Perfect cycler for woods play for...

    dg burnout

For me it was purely mental. I've always loved disc golf, but my attitude held me back. When my mentality and motivation was about competing/winning/(substitute similar words) I got seriously burnt out exactly as you did. I made a thread about it too. Not to mention all of the other nasty side...

    [Innova] Fairway pairings

A normal stable Undertaker for all the normal, standard shots in the book plus a Mantis which is simply a beat up Undertaker for turning shots if you don't have a beat up Undertaker. Plus an overstable Hellfire for occasion! You could have some extra Undertakers and Mantises in different stages...
