When I rate courses I try to rate objectively and take into account what they were designed for. All of my rating are based on when I last played the course and it's condition at that current time; not what it might be.
My favorite courses are based on if I could only play one or two courses in that state, what one would I want to play. I only select favorite courses for states that I have played multiple courses in.
Unlike some people some of the courses in my wish list are more like dream courses. I don't plan to ever be able to play them, but am still able to dream. As of for now I plan to play every course I can in MA, NH, VT, ME, CT, and RI.
Depending on the date, I will def be at King of the Hill. I can't wait for all the dang snow to melt so that I can enjoy the golf a little more next time. I'm assuming you'll be there too?
16th out of 30 in AM2. I have to say that I'm pleased with my first tourney, I was mainly hoping to not finish dead last. If I'd gone for one less stroke, I would have actually gotten some $$ out of it. Next time....
Looks like you had a pretty decent day too. The guy who beat you should probably have been in AM2 from the looks of his score.
Highlights of the day: seeing both of the aces on 9 (standing on 10 waiting to tee off, saw the practice ace; guy on my first card hit a legit ace to finish the round), having a pro master deuce 18 (drove to within 40 ft of the basket), and watching an AM1 hit a 125 ft blind shot up the hill and over the boulder on #3 for the deuce.
Yeah, hope the snow isn't too deep. I was there on Saturday and it was actually pretty managable. I have no idea how much snow/rain the hill got over the past two days and I won't be back until the day of the tournament...if you happen to swing by, let me know what it's like!
This is going to be my first tournament as well. I figure as long as I stay out of the trees, I won't come in last in my division. Basically it'll be one big learning experience.
softballs ended so free after work - can take off early if need be - i'm off next friday could possibly fit something in before i head up north - other than that i'd have to see what my work schedule looks like.
damn next week i've got to go to a bachelor party for my sisters fiance - i think i'm free the following weekend - we'll figure something out - im pretty flexible and willing to drive anywhere. Goodluck in the tourney where's it at?
OK, I'll see what I can do. I can tell you right now that I can never play during the week, as I don't even get home til almost 7. Weekends are best, but I feel like there's always something I have to go to, lol.
