Thanks for the lecture, I guess I'll never be a Senator.. someone will undoubtedly find this picture and it will grace the cover of the NY Times... I can allready feel the shame..
no worries....ill try to get u some more notice next time.
I ended up playing 36 @ johnny roberts with a buddy in denver. got my first ace ever! hole 15 257 ft. straight to slight anny over a creek, skipped it off the ground and nailed chains. best part- a group of 5 was letting us play through and they were standing right between the tee and basket, so they saw the whole thing!
yo bro i am heading to play beaver ranch or ghost town today. ill be done with work in edwards at 2pm. leave a message if you want to join, ill be driving back to vail right after
Thanks for the compliments. I started playing on the Madison courses during college (UW, ECE major) and have played them hundreds of times. Heistand and Elver will always be personal favorites, but I'm always impressed when I get back down there.
Speaking of Winter Park in CO - have you played recently? I left my signature in the hut after the last hole. I got a picture of me tagging it and holding up one of my Winter Park Kewaunee discs too. My wife and I were out there on vacation and HAD to play it to see who could claim the name - it was a poor excuse for a course if you ask me. Definitely lacking any qualities of a sweet course. I liked the alpine slide more, and wish I would have biked instead. I also missed Beaver ranch and WISH I would have made more time for it. That's okay though, I can travel to Denver for work and hit it up some other time. Hit me up whenever you're in WI for a round at the real Winter Park.
Not just highbridge, i spent the seven day before that playing and replaying all the best courses in the twin cities as well as Justin Trails. Fear not, the reviews are on the way.
