A little on property law... Property is generally deemed to have been lost if it is found in a place where the true owner likely did not intend to set it down, and where it is not likely to be found by the true owner. At common law, the finder of a lost item could claim the right to possess the...
Interesting question...and, I'll be honest. From day one I felt I could be good at putting. Within the 1st year I bought a practice basket 2 months before my first tourney. I definitely donate the time into developing my putt and the practice basket helped. Repetition is the key...practice...
My first ace was total skill and a touch of luck. Luck because it was an extremely wooded hole and you have to hit the line perfectly. A lot of folk's used to throw Tommy's and thumbers to just get thru. I hit the perfect S line with an old pearly beast that crashed full on chain. I talk about...
My bag is really minimal and holds 14 disc's only. Like has been said by many - if I didn't like a disc it wouldn't be in my bag. With that, my least favorite would be my production run champ destroyer. I actually fly it quite a lot...it's just a production run and nothing special...very easily...
I may have to break down and get one of these. I did throw a Ti Buzz some...nice and fast!! I almost pulled the trigger on a trade for it. Someone wanted a backup KC Pro Roc of mine and the Buzz really intrigued me. I didn't go for it...
Interesting hole...so wide open I'd imagine the only factor may be the wind!! With that, I'd go with a star destroyer on a calm day and the champ destroyer for a windy day. Looks like an ace run all day long!! Heck, if there isn't any water behind the basket, it may be worth a cubby ace!!
So, the only reason I could see open players bagging it in the intermediate division is money. As is the norm... the largest division always has the largest payout. Typically, at least in my area, intermediate always has the most entries. In a non-pdga event, they may have waited to see which...
When the Katana and Nuke first came out I was test flying them both. I had an ESP Nuke and a Star Katana. I had some wonderfully beautiful flies with the Katana; however, it was quite sensitive to nose angle. The Nuke offered some serious bombs as well and it was a much more consistent flyer. I...
I've never actually counted how many disc's I own. I'd guess around a hundred - I only carry 14 in the bag. The rest are collector, aces, and back ups. My last tourney I flew MPO.
I own a lot of putter; however I only use Voodoo's. I carry 2 organic Voodoo's that are strictly for putting and shorter approaches. I have a newer one for stable putts and a finely tuned one for anny lines!!
Hmmm, tough one - kinda' like whose your favorite musician...it changes daily. Anyway, here 'tis:
1. My original fly dye Z Nuke
2. CFR Destroyer
3. CFR TL
4. Super Roc
5, Organic Voodoo
Yay, the 1st photo of the day that I have an ace on!! It was a very memorable ace as Paul McBeth and Brittany were finishing hole 8 and coming up to hole 9. This is hole 7 and it shares a bench with hole 9. I flew as they were walking up and nailed a beautiful skip ace...with a finely tuned star...
This harkens back to the "what makes a Pro" thread. Yes, I've seen some younger pro's who have let things affect them and they fall apart. The best ones will have none of that. I'm not saying I'm some great pro...heck, I've only flown open once and that was just recently. I can honestly say that...
