41st Annual Wintertime Open

Kinda torn on whether to go into blackout mode or not... This would be a good time to have live scoring. If he started making a run tomorrow, then I probably would. Has anybody been giving updates on twitter/FB?

Yes, but a few really bad shots and putts even before the rain started. . but some of the putts looked good and then just could not stick

Whats the rule on that Zone shot on hole 18 . . Paul throws it in a small "river" and the disc flots away a meter. . then he takes the shot on the far side out of the water. . .

Looked to me like he played It correctly from the near side in accordance with 805.01.B:

"A thrown disc is considered to be at rest when it first stops moving. A disc in water or foliage is considered to be at rest when it is moving only as a result of movement of the water, the foliage, or the wind."

So Paul's position would be where he went in the casual water creek, and then he took casual relief on the line of play behind his established position.

Round 1 Thoughts:

Eagle was playing more like a Pidgeon, McBeth and Barela looked like they were phoning it in and Steve Rico played solid. Not spectacular, but solid.

Eagle did a good job as commentator, he know that lots of viewers wanted to know what Paul was throwing so he said most of the discs both he and Paul throw. . exept Pauls putter for some reason, maybe Paul told him not to say?

Pretty sure it was a Roach though. Luna, just on upshots.

Looked like the opposite. The yellow putter definately had the Luna stamp. The peach putter he used for approaches looked like the team stamp Roach he had in the building the bag putters video. Not too sure on that one though. Was definitely team stamped so it could be anything.

I take that back. Just checked, and he used a stock stamp Jawbreaker Roach in the putter video. So, who knows what the mystery peach putter was? Maybe a Luna in different plastic?

OMG was waiting for PM to throw a buzzz. That blue buzzz he threw was sooooooo perfect.
More throws like that, the buzzz will be even more popular( if thats possible).

Conditions and baskets are terrible but i cant wait for the rest of the footage

So sorry about the late release yesterday guys :( computer crashed while we were at the course, so we had to send Peter home to re-render / upload.

That said, hope you're enjoying the coverage! Got lead card plus a bonus vid for you guys today

Thoughts on the reaction cam?

Really enjoyed watching this one.

Commentary was great, all the shots were filmed well and it just had an overall clean look.
