Auburn Hills, Michigan - 2 day disc binge

There is something about Cass that keeps me coming back every time I am up in the D. Even with the lose of so many trees, it is still a classic, but we always go early. The Mob Golf scene can get pretty bad later in the day.

I work near Cass. Got out there today around lunch time and I gotta say.. It was actually in pretty decent shape. It has some new, simple tee signs there and it also appears that the garbage bins are being emptied. It's been a few years since I've been there and it definitely looks way better now than last time I was there.

Just got back from the trip.
AWESOME!!!
Thank you EVERYONE for posting and helping us put together a solid agenda.
BogeyNoMore was kind enough to guide us through the final 4 courses.

We wound up hitting;

Friday - Stoney South, Stony North, Addison Oaks, Seymour Lake then Holly Woods
Saturday - Cass-Benton, Black Locust, Independence Lake then Rolling Hills

A few quick notes;

Stony is LEGIT. And I mean both courses, north and south, LEGIT all the way.
Addison has fantastic variety and balance. Definitely a must play.
The last 9 holes at Black Locust will have me coming back.
The rough at Seymour Lake and Independence Lake can be brutal.
Cass-Benton was far better than expected. Early. Not crowded. Top notch disc play.
Loved the technicality of Holly Woods and Rolling Hills to finish each day, respectively.

189 holes in two days (one of which was an oppressively muggy 90° day)... CW and his buddy Josh are hardcore.
You guys saw all the best DG metro Detroit has to offer.
Had me a blast! :hfive:
