Beaver State Fling 2016

1196ft with a dog leg and tricky lines through trees, it is a legit par 5 for the longest arms in MPO. As a noodle armed am with ok accuracy that hole can officially go to hell.

Yeah, that hole is a monster. :p I'm not sure I've ever managed to par it. :p

What was the weather? Was storming here on the west side, but only for 30 minutes or so. They mentioned thunder lighting too.

Wth happened to Paul? Weather, injury, or is he human?

Good question. He's still a threat though, crazy he's so far behind (for him) but still could finish top 4, you can never count him out. He seems to play better later in the tourneys. Haha

Shifty winds on and off, dark clouds, bright sunshine, trace amounts of rain. All in all we got off easy.

He muttered a few comments about his back after shots. It seems to be giving him trouble. He also missed quite a few routine putts and threw some downright bad shots.

He still threw a lot of great shots as well, but he doesn't really seem comfortable out there.

Edit: This is referring to McBeth.

The further we get in to 2016, the more convinced I am that we'll see a new #1 overall from MPO.

CCDG has a very nice round 1 highlight package up. Really enjoyed it.

This is always a wierd tournament to watch. The course is gorgeous and watching the guys throw big shots in the woods is awesome, but the scoring spread at Milo is TERRIBLE. It's like; up next another 600 foot par four. Everyone gets a three weeeee!!!

only if Paul is injured, and takes extensive time off. Maybe he should though, injuries aren't gonna heal when he is playing, and traveling every week for the next 5 months

Wow, when was the last time McBeth was not on the lead, OR chase card? There's still a lot of golf left, but you have to wonder if his back will hold up.
Has he seen a specialist about this?

Saw that CCDG recap and thought it was really good. Different than their normal stuff, and they pulled it off perfectly...dare I say as good as SpinTV?

I liked that they threw footage of Barsby in there; he's a real fan favorite and even though he didnt throw that well for him, good on CCDG for recognizing that the fans want to see Barsby!

I really like watching this event...the courses just look so great. I hesitate to criticize any of the pros because the BSF courses would eat me alive, but Paul's score is surprising. Hope he can afford to take a break from the tour and heal up. If its just a nagging pain, some rest will do wonders (trust me, I deal with this several times per year). I truly hope it isn't anything serious.

Whatever's happened Paul has his work cut out for him... but for some reason(?) I can't convince my brain to count him out...lol, It does appear however that his streak of finishing no worse than second(third?) is in danger.
