Disc Golf Rules?

Use disc instead of disk. Also avoid using frolf and frisbee when describing disk golf. And have fun.

In tourney play you cannot "flip" your disc. Either leave it where it's at and place your lead foot directly behind it at the center of the disc, or use a marker (dg marker, or even another disc).

Actually not true. If you mark your lie, you can use a mini marker only. (803.03A) In a tournament, you also are required to use a mini to mark your lie if one of the following happens: out-of-bounds, disc above the playing surface, lost disc, unplayable lie, relocated for relief, interference, or repositioning the lie within 1 meter of the out-of-bounds line.

technically the rulebook defines a mini marker disc as just a disc

Mini Marker Disc: A disc used to
mark the location of the lie. (See 803.03
marking the lie, and 802.02, size
restrictions)
