Disc Golf Valley

Glad we got an update like this as I'm trying to make a push in MP with a week to go in the season.

The water skip feature is useful enough on enough holes that you're going to want to find room in your bag for a distance driver with that attribute

I aced Oak Hill 6 with a skip off the water with literally the very first shot I threw on it with the DD you get in the pack you can buy. I posted the video on the facebook page

Multiplayer season 5 started a day ago.

Water skip will definitely be in every pros bag once they got a good disc. Looks like a glide/waterskip Rive or Captain will be the way to go.

There were 5 events over christmas and a waterskip event. There is also the weekly global league going on. Check out that event tab!

UI patch has a lot of veterans confused and we definitely have to re-learn some ace aim points but IMO the new UI is cleaner overall.

Wow i had to scroll back far to find this thread ^^

Multiplayer season 8 started 2 days ago.

They added new discs, did some graphics updates on some of the old courses. They are experimenting with the multiplayer modus again, they went back to the old format of 15 minutes per round. Also they added way more ways to pay for some minor upgrades or discs. Overall i have not played enough yet to have an opinion, but i like at least the gfx updates.

Too much time on the real world courses lately, might come back to DGV more in winter.

Have you looked at FLEX Disc Golf on Steam? It's on sale now for $4 till 11-Jul, so I'll pick it before the weekend.

I don't know if it is just me, but the game has not been cooperating of late. Lots of shots pause mid flight and then resume the flight on a different line, generally into a hazard. The game play also seems to be much more severe, with much more severe kicks and such. Did they ramp up the difficulty in the gameplay? And then the ads...they come more frequently and they are so damn loud. I'm just about ready to abandon the game.

They've been tweaking things to make things more realistic with every update they do. I haven't really noticed anything you're mentioning, other than the spitout issue. I quit using "Sticky" attribute putters to help minimize that problem.

As for the ads, I paid for $5 or whatever it was to remove them and it's been so nice.
