They posted a photo on FB. eMac says its a longer Destroyer

Picture doesn't look like a destroyer, or faster destroyer for that matter. If thats the actual disc in the picture, it looks exactly like an Avenger. (with the flatter wing end and smaller rim size). The type of plastics they choose to use is what interests me the most.

I wonder who's doing their molding... :| I wish they'd started with a putter. I don't the arm for a warp speed driver.

This hasn't been approved yet, has it? I want to see the details.

I posted this in the other thread, but this would be shift from a related to a competing service line with respect to the products DD carries. I would expect to see more than a single disc in their lineup to be able to hit the ground running vs. the other big boys on the block.

Wish I knew more! EMac commented on the picture "It's like a longer Destroyer. ;)" let the speculation begin!

I can't imagine a major manufacturer would stop supplying DD though. In the end, DD is one of the top online retailers and to pull your lineup because they've started molding a few of their own discs will present a bigger loss than going head-to-head with them on their own site.

As it is, they're in tight with Discraft anyway which hasn't stopped Innova from selling there.

That said, it seems pretty likely that Discraft is actually doing the molding of these discs.

Panic thread #1: OMG Dynamic Discs already has 5 models on the PDGA Approved list!

EMac steps up to the tee. Looks like he has a Super Puppy in his hands. Oh he crushed that one! Perfect placement about 150' off the tee! :p

It looks a lot like a Destroyer to me. More so than an Avenger.

Does no one think this might end up being a relationship closer to that of Innova and Discmania? Where Discraft does the mold set up and injections? Seems likely to me.
