Tattar with a top 5 MPO level score today, -8 by the MPO layout's par (same course), rated 1054 compared to the MPO for same score 1056

Augustsson kept up his R1 pace for R2, still 36 holes to go for those trying to chase him down
After R2, FPO field is mostly sorted by rating but MPO has a bit more of a shuffle going on currently with a few 'unknowns' in the top 10. Could just be some of the players rounding into tournament form mid-summer.

The PDGA.com list appears to have last been updated in 2018.... but if nothing new has emerged this is the second highest rated round in the 60-65 SSA range, behind Paige Pierce's 2018 Disc Side of Heaven 1059.

(edit: had to add "Pierce" because... well... Bjerkaas is on the list too, albeit a bit lower at 1032, now third highest in that SSA range)

She's built a 13 stroke lead going into Rd 4.

Has the same feel as EO... For those of us following primarily to see if she can get to 1000.

The margin she's smoking the field by suddenly shrinks as soon as she's secured a giant lead. At EO she beat the field by 4 and 6 before tying the second best score in the last two rounds. This weekend she beat the field by 4 and 8... and then down to 2.

Is it a minor quibble? Yeah.
But every round over four digits helps, and every round under four digits hurts. Being the first FPO player to get to 1000 is a tough goal.

Who knows, maybe her play over the next few months/year will be so great that 995 will be an inconsequential bump.

300-350' low ceiling uphill drive just to get into good position, 400' for an ideal birdie look. Then you can hit a gap to lay up (usually another 300' for the 880-940 rated crowd) to about 70-100' or you can go for it through another low ceiling gap onto an island the size of c1.

If you don't stick the island (staying inbounds) you throw from where you were last in bounds before the island until you stick the island.

If you play aggressive on your 2nd (or 3rd after less than ideal drive/upshot) you may find yourself with a somewhat tricky 150-180' upshot over and over, a la EO hole #16 (kind of).

It's not really a hard hole, over 2/3 of the FPO should be able to get a pretty easy par or bogey consistently, but it is nervewracking and easy to tincup.

Edit: idk how Henna took a 10, she's the only one to birdie it (r1) and she should be able to make that upshot with her eyes closed, even with the gusty headwind there today.

Nope, still unsponsored.

She was sub-900 rated less than a year ago and her biggest finish until late last season was winning the FJ18 division at the European Championships in '21. But then she won some bigger European tournaments in july/august and has been on a tear ever since.

She's 20, I believe, so only 3 years younger than Henna. Still very young, although it's crazy to think that Henna was probably the top FPO player in Finland at 14 years old.

Does anyone know what happened with Kristin Tattar? They briefly mentioned on this morning's coverage of FPO DGLO that she may have injury issues?

It is good she build up such a big lead.
