Ok here are some videos from a practice session that I and ManU did at the field by our house. They were probably in the 300-325ft range. Having watched the videos I know I've got lots to work on but just thought I'd post for more info. My background is Ultimate frisbee and I throw lots of low bh's in that which I'm sure has caused a bunch of problems with my drive. Oh and these are thrown with either a Beast or SL.

Any help would be super appreciated. Would love to get to the 400+ range.

your positives:

+ you accelerate fairly late
+ you pull on a lower line
+ you are fairly fluid with footwork and overall motion
+ you pivot on your heel
+ you follow through at full speed
+ your hips are fairly active
+ your grip appears to be wrist down

your negatives:

- you telegraph anhyzer meaning you probably are torquing the discs some
- your right shoulder enters the throwing motion higher than your left, drop your right shoulder earlier

well you have a lot of positives but it's not perfect. With all of your positives you should be able to get a lot farther if you lower your leading shoulder and pull the disc a bit flatter rather than with the flight plate pointing towards your chest. doing both of these will give you more nose down and thus a longer flight. be aware that making these changes may affect your timing some. hope this helps.

Thanks for the comments on my shots... Just wondering now how to go about fixing those problems?

- Arm needs to be closer to the chest to avoid the anhyzer?
- Drop the right shoulder

Also, my knee is a bit sore after going to the field and throwing approximately 50+ drives. Is this something to be concerned about? I wonder if I'm not pivoting over my knee correctly?

The step length in the final step prior to release is fine for a faster run up. Now you're too far weight back. Shortening the step by 4-6" and leaning more forward from the waist brings your heart over the right knee which gives lower flight lines thanks to lowering the front of the disc.

- Arm needs to be closer to the chest to avoid the anhyzer? pull the disc flat like it has glass of water on top of it
- Drop the right shoulder just lower it down it's that simple

no the discs needs to be flat (flight plate pointing up not at your chest) to avoid the anhyzer. pulling the arm closer to your chest gives you more power. as for your knee it shouldn't be a problem as long as you are consistently pivoting on your heel. there is another thread on here about knee pain somewhere.
