I feel like a geo-tagged 'lost disc' feature is absolutely rife for abuse by somebody with ill intentions.

bad people suck. but still other geotagging like pictures of aces to attach to the disc history would be sweet to look back on

yep. and, unfortunately, you need to think like the absolute worst person when developing something intended to be used by many people.

and then somebody will STILL manage to use/abuse your feature well beyond the scope of its intended functionality.
