Not like it matters anymore. My DG career is pretty much over at this point. My shoulder just keeps getting worse even though I hardly play and do light weight exercises to try and strengthen the muscles back up after breaks of not throwing. Only played twice since august and both times only made it a couple holes before it started hurting again.

Once spring comes, I will probably try to actually to learn to go lefty but i'm not sure my left knee can handle the torque...

That sucks man.. I've been in and out of injuries and knee surgery for the last 5 years it's tough losing distance and the ability to play as many holes as I want to. I still love it though, I had a harmless lump chopped out of my neck a week ago, I can't and shouldn't really throw, I'm not supposed to be working or lifting haha...

.... so I'm out playing yesterday and I figured if I'm not moving my body I won't tear my stitches. Played the bottom easy nine with the Whitler (a lid) took a lotta threes and couple fours. Normally I'd be 5 under or better. I might have made par, I didn't really count or care.

When I had knee surgery I learned how to play righty to keep the weight off my point leg, I sucked but hey its still disc.

On an MVP note I did real good with the 165 electron Spin today.

OK so double post... haha so my buddy came through for me.. Got a 179 Plasma Axis a 143 Fission Photon and two 10th Anniversary Ions.!! :) :) :)

I'm going to have to gather my discs and raise 100 bucks in the marketplace..

Got my clash and threw it a bit today. Feels great in a forehand grip. Only threw it a couple times backhand today and it seems more beefy than I was expecting. Wasn't showing any turn for me and not as glidey as my eagle x. Had more of a dump than a forward penetrating fade. It might overlap quite a bit with my thunderbirds. I'll have to do some more testing and definitely try forehanding it as well. Maybe I'll try out a crave. Haha. I used to use my relay for most fairway shots but it's getting a bit floppy now.

I couldn't keep a Vanish in the bag longer than a month. Lost 4 or 5 of them after having the first one for the longest around 2 months. Apparently, those things were named appropriately...

Going lefty isn't too bad.

Have you seen a specialist? I had a shoulder injury for about a year and was doing excersizes my friend suggested since he had had shoulder issues in the past. They didn't help at all and I could barely get through a round. And this was my non-throwing shoulder.

I finally went to a specialist who figured out which muscles were damaged and gave me different PT to actually address my issue. I did them religiously for a few months and now I can throw like normal again. Still do the PT often just to keep myself from another injury too.

Also, for whoever was asking about the Prizm Insanities, Idk about weighting agents, but I do know every profile Pic I saw of them they had a much lower PLH than regular production Insanities, with a fair bit more dome too.

couldnt find any plaz insanity on the fb page

do people just not buy them cuz they suck or are they holding on tight to them cuz they rule

I just tore my rotator cuff in my right (throwing) shoulder. I'm a hockey goalie and had an accidental collision with a forward.
I'm already trying to learn to throw left handed, but it's counterintuitive at this point.

On an MVP note, I LOVE LOVE LOVE my Volt and Tesla.

Luckily, I played golf for years, so the hip and shoulder rotation feels more natural throwing LHBH for me. its just a matter of doing it enough to get my left arm some muscle memory...

That's pretty impressive. If I'd just tore my rotator cuff, I'd be like 'welp guess I don't need my volt and tesla anymore... Anybody want to trade for an orbital?'

Brutalbrutas, that's brutal news on your shoulder, sorry. Completely torn?

At the end of it when you heal up you could be ambidextrous... it's super annoying at first, best thing to do is get something mildly overstable and light.. Work with that on the arm motion then start tuning in a neutral disc.. It's going to take a lot of goofy throws to figure out the motion. Here's where you get to noob it and lump a Crave on 150' holes!!

The only thing bad about going lefty was all the 'touch' stuff. Putting is hilari-bad. Driving is easier than you think, if you have your mechanics down fairly well. Your arm speed will be noob levels bad though so you'll have to disc way down and maybe lighten up the weights.

Don't have insurance so I never got it looked at. Originally injured it Feb of '17. Never really quit playing at the time. In early summer it was almost back to normal and then I wrecked my ankle for the umpteenth time. After month+ on the sidelines, all the muscle in my shoulder area was gone and that's when it really started hurting. Played a couple times after that and then took all last winter off to let it heal but it never did. Probably played a dozen or so rounds in '18 mostly at a SteadyEd pitch n putt. I can still putt and throw upshots but when I try to reach back at all to throw distance is when he gets me. If I reach too far back, it pops out of socket when I go to pull thru the zone...

I've also got a disc/nerve thing in my neck that I am not sure is related or not. That actually bothers me more on a daily basis.

Dang, I was going to offer to help play dr with my shoulder injury experience but nah that sounds wrecked. Lefty sounds good.

I also dealt with a neck issue for ridiculous amount of years. Could easily be related. PM if you want to dialogue.

I get the no insurance thing.

I can tell you that the 173g plasma Inertia I grabbed a couple weeks ago bombs. Flat and a tic less stable than the neutrons I've thrown.

Sorry, no info on the plasma Insanity, bruh.

Before my season really kicks off up here I will have acquired at least one. My worn proton insanity is my go to driver. I want a plasma one. Plasma plastic is awesome. Have an ion axis and crave in plasma. Want the insanity too
