Yep. I suck at putting so this would be a terrible idea for me.
Or.... They are trying to mimic the pressure of a tournament putt? This would just teach me to lay it up for a drop in though.
In my previous house we had rather large living room (16x32). Setting up a basket in one corner and standing in the opposite gave me a nice practice distance. The wall next to the basket soon took on the look of a Jackson Pollock painting.
.....I hated painting over that.
