Maybe an attempt to differentiate from the '14 speed' Colossus/Firestorm/Corvette?

And/Or position the Boss as more of a Pro level disc for players that need the stability?

And/Or make an available substitute for the OS McBeth Destroyers now that the Wysocki ones aren't being made as OS?

Could be. Only thing now is that the Boss has become exactly like the Ape.

FWIW, I'd take a Feldberg Boss over a Corvette, Colossus, or Firestorm.

This Boss I was throwing yesterday, I figure you'd need a 500' arm to turn it. Also, I'm throwing at high altitude. That in itself makes a lot of difference.
