I have been mainly throwing teebirds, tl's, and patriots/leopards as of late. All on hyzer's, with the intention of throwing hyzer flips to get the disc up to speed. Since working out the slower speed discs, i have had a lot better success throwing straighter lines at about 300-325 ft. My problem comes when i try put the higher speed discs in my hand, mainly orc's, wraith's, and tee devils. even when throwing with the slightest of hyzer's, i am unable to get the discs up to speed. I am only able to get these discs to 300-325 ft. range. Any tips/constructive criticism would be appreciated!

Loosen your whole arm/shoulder and keep your elbow forward and turning the shoulders back further and throwing shoulder lower. You are turning forward when you should still be turning backward also your balance is a little behind the heels and you push early with the rear foot before your spine/weight gets braced against the front leg. You get over the leg. Watch how much forward follow through you have with the hips compared to the top throwers.

Thanks sidewinder! All good points I'll be sure to pay attention to in field work tomorrow. Looking at the top throwers motions, i did notice that my disc clears my left pec going backwards after my 2nd step, while I'm still on my right foot. The top throwers, on the other hand, don't clear their left pec until they're on their 3rd step leading to their plant. Maybe a looser arm and a delay in shoulder rotation will keep my core on line with my hips. Maybe a longer step on the plant leg to keep me behind my plant leg?

Not a longer plant. It's more falling to a closed stance. Then start the swing with the body(delayed shoulder rotation) then arm.

Kinda of, front foot should also be more to the left closing the hips and shoulders.
