Personally, I would rather throw something a little slower like the EagleX and use a longer understable complement. In place of the OLF/PD type shot, I use a distance driver. It takes less "oomph" to accomplish the same distance for me. That and I can control the Eagle easier (due to rim size) than the OLF/PD type control drivers. I find the EX can be sneaky long when it is seasoned a little, which encroaches on the OLF/PD distance wise.
