What is sad about that is I can look at his stats and see what his rating was back then. I don't know if they had the same divisional criteria in 2007 that they have today but that guy was rated too high to play in the Adv Master's division.

What do tournament payouts have to do with membership fees?

I was under the impression that part of the increased membership fees for Pros went to help fund the payout at the PDGA Pro World Championships. (I think it was scoot_er that was complaining about that subject.)
