Putter Porn!!

Wow! Putters and the Big O. You are a sick man. You might want to seek help for that.

that is an honest and very relevant question to those who obsessively collect putters, like 20 and up, for just... looking at. If you buy a putter without intent to use it, something is wrong.

It takes a while to find the right putter for you. You'd be doing yourself a great injustice if you didn't shop around. I'm collecting as many Soft Bangers as I can for practice purposes now that I've found it. Collecting putters is really no different than collecting baseball cards or cars, except you can use the putters without killing their value.

sounds good and justified. I guess I just don't collect thatkind of stuff yet.

If you have a putter you like, you want to have more than one to practice with, and for backups. Also, I like to try different putters. I also keep extra discs on hand for family members and such that might want to go with me, but don't have any discs.

First of all, what kind of moron takes a picture of a black disc on a black background?

My guess on the age comes from the Lindbergh plane. If you look under where it says "Spirit of Disc Golf" you will see a line that goes to a circle with a "16" on it. It's a pole hole turned sideways. The 16 refers to what was the signature hole on the antediluvian Creve Coeur Lake Park course. That course was essentially destroyed in the flood of '93. So as I recall it, this disc was pre-'93.

I think this one with the skyline and the big #16 basket is older than the Lindbergh stamp.

At any rate, they were both St. Louis Club stamps pre-'93.

Top row: Pro Rhyno
2nd row: Pro-D Challenger, MOB Series stamp; Whammo Putter (The Whammo 3 pack was only $5, I've only ever used this as a scorecard :D)
3rd row: Supersoft Voodoo, Voodoo Doll dye; Supersoft Voodoo; Organic Wizard
4th row: Glow Aviar; DX Aviar; DX Aviar (First Dye); DX Aviar (Found beat to hell, floppy, Little Wing stamp)

I have a wizard identical to that pink one on the left I think. 175g SSS? Would you consider it an eraser wizard? I've heard that phrase thrown around before but never really know what they were exactly.

My SSS Voodoo collection.
The purple/pink/blue jawbreaker one at the bottom covered in ash is my daily driver, the rest are in reserve waiting for coach to put them in.

They are all 174 or 175g

Got my Organic Voodoo coming in this week. If I like it I might have a little Voodoo collection going soon.

So I tried to erase pencil with the SSS wizard and it kind of worked but more or less just moved the lead around. However, I have another pink SS wizard that worked just as good as the eraser that came on the pencil.
