Hey guys,

I've been playing for a little over a year and trying to get my form dialed in.

This is my old form from last year:

This is my most recent form:

In the video, I threw pretty nose up. I can throw 330 pretty consistently but I'm leaving a lot of power on the table due to rounding + footwork issues. Normally the nose up isn't that bad but I have an inconsistent release due to the aforementioned rounding.

Would appreciate any suggestions!

SW will come in with the good stuff, but I can say that I see 2 big issues you can fix pretty easily. Your second step (the x step) has gotten bigger which is the wrong direction to go in. It's turning you backwards and probably leading into your next issue which is you're reaching back too high. The nose up you are getting is because your throw arc is a swoop.

Try setting discs out for your feet to match with your last 3 steps as a drill. It should be two discs next to each other and the last one just past shoulder width apart for your feet. Then try to throw like that. It's harder than it sounds when you're brain is saying "throw far!" Also make sure to keep your balance. You wanna finish balanced on your right leg.

These issues are indicators of a mostly arm throw so it's gonna take a bit to get your brain to use your whole body.

As for nose angle, exaggerate the opposite:

I like the older backswing with shorter x-step. Your latest is taking a massive x-step and holding your arm too stiff. Need to let go of the arm.

Hey sw,

So, checking back a month or so later. I'm trying to get my x step shortened and dialed in. I did want to ask: what is the best way to get my brace dialed in? One thing that you can probably see in the video is that I'm spinning into the brace but not completely braced up. What should I do to fix that aspect of it?

Certainly part of the issues are accentuated by the rounding with the large x step, but I was just wondering what the "feeling" of the brace should be and which drill you think I should focus the most on.
