When playing a mandatory or a horseshoe hole where you're throwing and the direction of aiming your shot do not match, where does your foot (point of contact) have to be? Is it always in a straight line with the hole or is it in a straight line with the direction you're throwing?
For example, if you're playing a horseshoe hole where you throw a bad shot and the hole is at 3 o'clock and the direction you are throwing is at 12 o'clock because there is no path directly to the hole do to trees and brush; do you place your last point of contact at 6 o'clock or 9 o'clock?
Sorry for the confusing post.
