The Dye A Day Thread! (Part III)

Last one before Okthrowberfest.

Another one for the Tool fans: Lateralus.

It's a Lucid Felon. Lucid stamps are hella deep; I did the best I could to control it.

As usual, I just painted as I went, piece by piece.

The background is Fluorescent Yellow, so this thing is crazy bright. Even in the woods the ambient daylight makes those yellow bands like super-dayglow.

It's amazing! You are my hero. Thanks

I hope it stays in the bag and gets you many birdies, aces, and compliments. There were actually quite a few areas that I meant to go back and touch up, but once the background was done it just felt done.

Going to be the last disc I do for anyone else for a while though, Okthrowberfest is next, and then I gotta do 3-4 of my Venture Bros/Prodiscus series. Also, I've been meaning to the realistic close up of Squidward on a Tursas forever.

Been over a year since I dyed a disc. Couldn't take anymore of my Chiefs getting manhandled by the Texans so I decided to dye my lucid felon. Forgot to blow dry my mask and the red shaving cream bled a little. Oh well. Other than that I'm happy with the result.

Well, this could have been better. Left in the red too long, oh and you know, maybe not bumped into the pan, covering the back of the disc, and splashing my shirt.

Edit: also, I need to get better paper so it doesn't bleed.
